10th August 2007...Eurogate open new operation in Linz, Austria
Eurogate have announced the opening of a new office in Linz, Austria, as part of a rapid programme of expansion across Europe and the CIS.
The Linz office, now fully operational, will support existing Eurogate facilities in central and eastern Europe with a particular emphasis on services to and from the UK. “We have seen a huge increase in Austrian traffic in the past couple of years” says George Nagy, Eurogate’s founder and CEO. “The new office was the obvious next step, and part of our ongoing development policy to optimise our customer services at a local level.”
The Austrian office, which started trading in August, is the fifth Eurogate office to open in the last year. The Company opened its first offices in Romania and the Ukraine in the second half of 2006, as well as opening additional offices in both Poland and Slovakia earlier this year. The Eurogate network now comprises 17 offices in 13 countries.
